The Indie Shopper is an art book featuring ten independent shops in and around Tokyo. Each shop's exterior or interior is machine stitched using black sewing thread on sepia toned linen fabric. The fabric book comes with a stuffed dog called Kyoko, the Dog in Disguise. This book was inspired by Eva Li’s favourite TV show on BBC, Paddington (1976-1980) based on the Paddington Bear books by Michael Bond.
